✔ Motorsport Applications
Widely used in rallying, circuit racing, time attack, and drag racing, the RSX Torsen LSD provides efficient torque distribution to the wheel with the most grip. This helps reduce understeer in front-wheel-drive vehicles and oversteer in rear-wheel-drive setups, resulting in more predictable handling, improved cornering speed, and better traction.

Our Torsen or helical gears LSDs are made of “FORGED” Nickel Chromoly steel, with special heat treatments and finishings like super sub-zero, shot peening and WPC to increase surface hardness offering the ultimate strength and lasting, being the ideal option to those turbocharged engines with huge torque and power, like found in drag racing cars with over 1.000hp!

Traction capabilities and cornering speed are deeply improved with a smooth and constant distribution of power to the wheels without any pulling effect to the steering wheel unlike other LSDs.

Our in-house special high angle helical gear design increases traction and cornering speed to the extent that we surpass some of the plate type LSDs available in the market.

The maintenance and noise free features make our Torsen LSD the best option for any road and track day car, but also very effective with a low cost for any race, drag and rally car.

As a proof of our quality and reliability we offer a 5 years motorsport warranty upon material or manufacturing defects in our range or Torsen LSDs.

This is important:

We recommend using OE or fully synthetic Gear Oil with NO shockproof additives or friction modifiers, known as ¨LS” gear oils which are exclusive for plate type LSDs.

It is also recommended to add some Gear Oil to the LSD when assembling it into the gearbox. We use anti-rust oil during assembling in our factory, but it has no lubrication function.
