RENAULT CLIO 3 SPORT RS 184MM SINGLE AND TWIN-DISC CLUTCH KITS 

Specifically developed for the Renault Clio 3 Sport RS 197hp & 200hp, equipped with 6-speed TL4 gearboxes, this kit works seamlessly with the OE hydraulic release bearing and includes: 

184mm (7.25”) Lightweight Flywheel (3.20 kg), available in two versions: 

  • With OE timing gear 
  • With 60-2 timing gearPrimarily used in the Clio III RS Cup Series or in setups with programmable ECUs where a 60-2 pattern flywheel is required

Clutch options:

  • Single-disc clutch → Capable of handling over 400 hp and 450 Nm, depending on the configuration. Weight: 2.80 kg 
  • Twin-disc clutchSupports over 1,000 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque, depending on the configuration. Weight: 4.20 kg 
  • Clutch disc: → Standar spline for TL4 gearboxes and Clio III RS Cup Racing series with Sadev sequential gearboxes, is 21T. Other splines are available on order 
  • Special Stick-up Adapter → Designed for the OE hydraulic release bearing (HRB), made from high-strength steel with induction hardening treatment for much longer durability 
  • Custom Aluminum SpacerIncluded in the single-disc clutch kit, this spacer sits behind the OE HRB. Combined with the Stick-up Adapter, it ensures the same working travel as the OE HRB 

Improved Pedal Feel & Modulation  

  • The spacer ensures the correct throw-out bearing travel 
  • The stick-up adapter allows proper seating of the release bearing against the diaphragm fingers, improving clutch pedal feedback 
  • The OE hydraulic release bearing’s flat fulcrum point often struggles to align with the flat diaphragm of racing clutch covers, leading to poor pedal feedback. Our Stick-up Adapter with a round fulcrum point significantly enhances pedal feel and modulation, which is crucial for a smooth launch on the starting line

Note: 
 

The spacer is not required for the twin-disc version 

 

When using sequential gearboxes, such as those found in the Clio Cup 197 / Clio Cup 200, or any other adapted sequential gearbox, the stick-up adapter and spacer are not necessary or compatible 
 
In these cases, the working travel of the hydraulic release bearing used in these sequential gearboxes must be checked 
 
Upon request, we can provide the measurement from the crankshaft mounting point to the slave cylinder contact point

Hardness: Achieves HRC 58~62, twice as hard as standard flywheels, preventing excessive wear (especially on the starter ring gear) in high-compression engines

Clutch Covers 
 
Material: Forged 6061-T6 aluminum, treated with hard anodizing for increased strength, durability, and scratch resistance 
Construction: Steel-riveted clutch cover legs for near-lifetime durability 
 
Top/Pressure & Floating Plates 
 
Material: Forged chromoly steel, cryogenically treated in some applications for superior strength and longevity 
 
Clutch Discs 
 
Material: Sintered, with multiple design options
