Material y especificaciones técnicas:

Fabricado con acero Forjado CrMo y tratamiento térmico especial ( Nitriding ) que duplica el endurecimiento de la superficie de aquellos volantes sin tratamiento ( el 99% de los fabricados en Europa ), consiguiendo valores de 60 HRC, cuando la dureza de  los volantes de motor que hay en el mercado apenas llegan a un valor de 30HRC.

Este tratamiento es muy útil para volantes motor muy finos y ultraligeros y también para el dentado donde ataca el piñón del motor de arranque, que suelen dañarse fácilmente en motores de alta compresión cuando no tienen ningún tratamiento térmico, que vienen a ser todos aquellos volantes que muestran un acabado pulido/mecanizado.

Material and technical specifications:

Made of Forged Chromoly steel and special heat treatment ( Nitriding Treatment ) offering twice the standard surface hardness without the treatment, as we get values around 60 HRC when the normal value w/o any treatment is around 30 HRC. This treatment is very useful for very thin and ultra lightweight flywheels as well as for the teeth of the ring gear which use to get damaged easily on high compression engines when they have not any heat treatment, like all those flywheels showing a polished/machined finish.
